My name is Julian Danby, owner and operator of Rotorua Trout Guide Limited – member of the New Zealand Professional Fishing Guides Association (NZPFGA). From a very young age I have successfully fished our local streams and lakes of the Rotorua region. Saltwater fly fishing for yellow tail kingfish on the tidal flats of the region’s harbour’s have expanded in the last few years into a recognised salt water fly fishing destination. The Tauranga Harbour fishery is where I base my guiding operation and I look forward to showcase some of the best saltwater fly fishing found on the planet. The New Zealand salt water fly fishing scene has seen a lot of international exposure and becoming a must do trip for the keen angler.
